No school Friday the 12th and Monday the15th.

Hope everyone enjoys their winter break.  School will resume on January 11th.

Our wonderful 1st graders will be performing tomorrow, Thursday. Come to watch and listen to this wonderful performance and enjoy some delicious hot chocolate.
. On the same night, before the performance we will have winter crafts and other activities for the families.  Hope to see you here!

This is a call to all parents and teachers; your EES PTA needs you!

Please join our PTA and make this year the best PTA year.  After a brief conversation with PTA member, Ms. Alvarado, efforts will be made to schedule PTA meetings after school in hopes that more teachers will join.  Hope to see you at their next meeting.

EES has started CELDT testing this week.  Students, please be sure to rest at home by going to bed early and eating healthy.

The CELDT is given to students whose primary language is not English (English Language Learners).  The information from the test is used by educators to help students and monitor growth.

Elsinore Elementary Gets Summer Facelift

 

Thanks to a $35,000 grant from Lowe’s, Elsinore Elementary School was outfitted with a new garden, a new painted mural and other improvements this summer.

 

Lowe’s, which is located at 29335 Central Avenue in Lake Elsinore, not only provided the funds for the project, but also provided many of the volunteers who made it happen.

 

The grant provided $18,000 in landscaping improvements, $12,500 in school supplies and classroom tools and $4,500 for janitorial improvements. Along with the garden and mural, workers power-washed campus walls, added rubber mulch under playground equipment, replaced the flagpole and supplied new flags, spruced up restrooms and added drought-resistant plants around campus.
